Open Graph Best Practices
Required Tags
- ✓ og:title - Headline (40-60 chars)
- ✓ og:type - Content type (article, website, product)
- ✓ og:image - Preview image (1200x630px min)
- ✓ og:url - Canonical page URL
Recommended Tags
- ✓ og:description - Summary (100-200 chars)
- ✓ og:site_name - Brand/website name
- ✓ og:locale - Language/region (en_US)
- ✓ og:image:width/height - For faster rendering
Twitter Card Tags
Twitter uses separate tags but falls back to OG tags if missing:
